Ex Irish filly who has done well since joining Mark Loughnane including winning a 7f handicap at Leicester last Month. The form of that race has been boosted by the runner up winning since.

Just six career runs for the 3yo filly. Two runs this year, a return run during April and a much better effort two weeks ago. She finished a close 4th that day over 6f, staying on strong from the rear. Something to build on, this 7f should suit her and she has a good jockey booking for this low grade handicap.

Has been in good form of late with a win and a 2nd place finish at Chepstow. Holds an each way chance if continuing in the same form back on the all weather

The one I prefer is King David, who has shown he can be competitive around Lingfield and comes here on a workable mark. His recent Chelmsford fourth was solid enough, finishing only around three lengths behind the winner in a race where he was competitive for a long way, and his earlier form includes several respectable efforts at this level. He has more substance to his profile than some of these rivals and looks capable of bouncing back to his best on this track.

ASHFORD HILL returns to last winning mark, which was over this trip and in this grade in January. We can excuse the last two runs as one was up in grade, and the other was over the shorter six furlongs, neither of which were suitable. So the drop back to this level, combined with this distance and surface, bring her into the equation here.
